Rainy night in Truro

We are renovating/repairing our 50 year old house to deal with some rot on the siding, deck and barge boards and soffits - small sections which were more exposed to the elements. We also had a small section of roof replaced. At the moment we have no gutters (sometimes called eavestroughs here) so our rainy night meant dripping past every window and a fair amount of splashing back onto windows and doors.

This morning the rain turned to big snowy flakes - our first of the year. Luckily I had my snow tyres (tires) fitted this week.
